Mounjaro dosing starts low and increases gradually, both to help your body adjust and to reduce the chance of digestive side effects. A typical schedule looks like this:

Weeks 1 to 4
2.5 mg
once weekly
Starting dose only. This amount alone does not treat blood sugar, it gives your body time to adjust.

Weeks 5 to 12
5–7.5 mg

Dose increases gradually as tolerated.

Week 13 onwards
